ABOUT ME
Petrichor. I'd never heard the word - but that raw, earthy smell after the rain? It kept me coming back to Moab, again and again, until one day.. I just didn't leave. No more big-box stores. no more two-day shipping. Just jagged red rock, twisted juniper, cracked earth, and endless skies.
This once-sleepy, dust choked town has grown into a full-on tourist hot spot - with Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse State Park right in its backyard. Somehow I carved out a home here: a cozy studio on a quiet dead-end street with the La Sals looming in one direction and the rim cutting sharp against the sky in the other.
My weekdays are emails and zoom calls, but the weekends? That's when I wander, chasing the unknown. Even after three years of calling this area home, I feel as though I have yet to scratch the surface of what it has to offer. This blog is for seekers, a guide to the hidden corners, to share the stories less told, and for the adventures most miss. If you are ready to ditch the beaten path, stick around!
I am not a professional web designer, content writer, or photographer but I like to pretend! I have two desert pigs (bulldogs) and yes, I was named after the song.
